The Mueller Opladen computerised oxy-fuel Pipe Cutting / Profiling Machine, with five computer-controlled axes, can generate almost any cutting profile with or without a continuous welding bevel as depicted.
The demanded cutting profiles are executed with simultaneous control of the following axes:
rotation of the pipe (1st axis) with the longitudinal movement of the torch system (2nd axis), oscillatory movement of the torch system on the pipe axis (3rd axis) with the rotation of the pipe through 360 degrees (4th axis) and vertical movement of the torch system in the event of deviations in the pipe surface (5th axis).
