SA Five Engineering is a member of the SA Five Group of companies, together with Air Options, RH Mechanicals and RNB Engineering.

Here below is a presentation of the companies forming the SA Five Group of which RH Mechanicals and RNB Engineering fall into the BBBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) programme as defined by the South African Government.

Air Options (Pty) Ltd develops and manufactures a range of quality Air Handling Units to supply to the light industrial & commercial air conditioning industry in Southern Africa.

RNB Engineering (Pty) Ltd is a Mechanical Engineering Contracting Company. We specialise in high and low pressure piping in Petro-chemical, food, textile, medical industries and water treatment systems.

RH Mechanicals is part of the SA Five Group since 1995. We are specialists in the welding of exotic metals applied to Nuclear Energy plants. Based at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, we offer our services to a wide range of Industries.

SA Five Engineering (Pty) Ltd has provided quality services to major companies in the Engineering and Construction Industries for the past three decades. Our clients include: Proxa, Civitas Partners, PetroSA, ArcelorMittal, De Beers, Transnet, Sandvik, and Tronox.

FACILITIES

SA Five Engineering (Pty) Ltd recently moved to our newly purpose built premises on the corner of Range and School Road, Blackheath, Cape Town.

Our new workshop facilities are state-of-the-art, to the extent of 12 000 square meters and are fully equipped, but not limited to, the following equipment: –

  • overhead cranes (7m under hook)
  • cold cutting
  • plasma profiler
  • rolling
  • drilling
  • corrosion protection and
  • welding machines

In addition thereto, our laydown area, to the extent of 8 500 square meters; allows fabrication, assembly and storage of significant sized structures.

Our workshop facilities enable us to produce work at competitive prices, whilst always maintaining our high standard of quality. Sliding doors enable the fabrication of different metals (stainless steel and duplex) to place in isolated environments, with zero cross-contamination.
